TiECon Canada is TiE Ottawa’s flagship conference for start-ups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, industry veterans, investors, and other members of the Canadian business community. Organized in partnership with Canadian sister chapters, TiECon Canada is the largest event of its kind in the region. It features daring entrepreneurs, industry leaders, technologists and investors from the hottest sectors. TiECon Canada attracts over 500 participants including hundreds of startups, speakers, funding agencies, dozens of investors and potential customers and collaborators every year.

Calling early stage Canadian start-ups to take advantage of this great opportunity to showcase their venture to potential Investors, customers, and collaborators with an opportunity to secure a potential investment of up to $100,000 (upon due diligence and agreed terms) and up to $50,000 of in-kind services from industry leaders.
This is a great opportunity for start-ups to gain access to funding, investors, mentors, expertise, and business support in order to accelerate the growth of their venture at TiECon Canada on November 1st, 2019.
There is no charge to apply for the PitchFest but all applicants must register for TiECon Canada at a special start-up rate of $99 to be eligible to be considered for the PitcthFest. Registration for the gala dinner on Nov. 1st is optional for an additional cost of $99)
PitchFest applicants must:
• Be a Canadian start-up
• Have engaged at least two customers
• Have generated less than $2 million in revenue since inception
Mr. Solon Angel, Founder, MindBridge.AI is the 2014 PitchFest winner. The exposure he received at the PitchFest helped Squanto [now MindBridge.AI] to close an oversubscribed round of seed funding within 24 hours of winning the PitchFest. MindBridge.AI is now one of the hottest Startups in Ottawa.
